The short version
TOOLS411's tools run entirely in your web browser. The numbers, text and measurements you enter are processed on your own device and are never sent to us. We have no accounts, no sign-ups, and no database of user information.
What we do not collect
- Anything you type, paste or measure in any tool on this site.
- Names, email addresses or account details — we offer no accounts.
- Files. Tools that work with files (such as a future image converter) process them locally in your browser; files are not uploaded.
Basic technical information
Like almost every website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for a short period for security and troubleshooting. We may also use a privacy-respecting analytics service to count visits and see which tools are popular, in aggregate. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors.
Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which tools are popular. It is a privacy-friendly service: it sets no cookies, does not track you across other sites, and reports only totals — such as how many people visited a page and roughly which country they came from. It cannot tell us who you are, and neither can we.
Your favorites list
If you star a tool as a favorite, that preference is stored in your own browser's local storage, on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or anyone else, it is not a cookie, and it is not used for tracking or advertising. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Cookies and advertising
TOOLS411 itself sets no tracking cookies. If advertising is shown on this site, it may be served by Google AdSense or a similar network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings page (ads.google.com/settings). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. If you block cookies in your browser, every tool on TOOLS411 will continue to work — the tools do not depend on cookies.
Children's privacy
TOOLS411 is a general-audience utility site. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and as explained above, we do not collect the content anyone enters into our tools at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes — especially anything involving advertising or analytics — will be reflected here before or at the time they take effect.
